Butter Cookies

These cookies are buttery and soft, melt in mouth, crisp on edges, piped using a piping bag and 1M star tip(nozzle). You can even decorate these cookies with sprinkles, or by dipping them in melted chocolate. I just like them plain and simple. Recipe Yield : 28 cookies Bake Time: 15 minutes Oven temperature : 350℉/180℃ Ingredients 1 cup(230g) butter, softened at room temperature ¾ cup icing sugar (powdered sugar/confectioners sugar) 1 egg or flax egg (1 tbsp ground flax seeds + 3 tbsp water) 2 tsp vanilla extract  2 ¼ cup all purpose flour (maida) ½ tsp salt 2 ½ tbsp milk Steps In a bowl, add softened butter and beat it for 4 minutes on medium speed with handheld electric mixer or stand mixer with paddle attachment. These soft baked cookies with oats flour, millet flour and applesauce/mashed bananas are so delicious and healthy. Kids will definitely love these cookies. Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies - Non Dairy

Non dairy chocolate chip cookies recipe. These amazing cookies are chewy, soft in the middle and slightly crisp at the bottom. RECIPE Servings : 12 to 15 cookies Cook time : 13 minutes Oven Temperature : 350℉/180℃ Ingredients ½ cup coconut oil ¼ cup white sugar ½ cup light brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 1¼ cup all purpose flour/ maida ½ tsp salt ½ tsp baking soda 1 cup (8 oz) vegan or regular semi sweet chocolate chips  Instructions   Add coconut oil, white sugar and brown sugar to a bowl, beat it for 2 minutes with a hand whisk. Add egg and vanilla extract, mix it for 1 minute. Sift in flour, salt and baking soda. Using a spatula or spoon, gently combine the mixture.  Fold in chocolate chips or chocolate chunks. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Scoop the dough with an ice cream scoop or deep serving spoon and place them onto a parchment lined baking tray leaving 4 inches space between cookies.  Cover and chill

Cinnamon Roll Cookies

Prep time : 1hr 15mins Bake time : 7-8 minutes Yield : 30 Cookies Oven temperature : 350F/180C Ingredients Cookie dough 1/4 cup Softened butter or Coconut oil 1/4 cup Cane Sugar 1/2 cup Corn starch 1/2 cup All purpose flour 1 Egg  1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking powder Filling 2 tsp Cinnamon powder 2 tsp powdered sugar  Directions In a bowl, Add all the cookie dough ingredients. Using a spoon or spatula, mix well to form a soft dough.  Wrap the dough in a plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 30minutes On a floured surface, cut half of the dough and roll it 1/4 inch thick.  Mix cinnamon powder and powdered sugar in a cup. Dust the cinnamon powder mixture on top of the rolled dough using a small mesh strainer. Starting with the longer edge, carefully and tightly roll dough into a log. This is a easy cookie recipe made using finger millet flour(ragi flour). I have also used all purpose flour(maida) in this recipe to obtain sugar cookie like texture. Kids will love these cookies. Recipe Ingredients 1/4 cup Coconut oil or softened butter 4 tablespoons Cane sugar + 2 tsp more for sprinkling 3/4 cup Finger millet flour (ragi) 1/4 cup All purpose flour 1/2 tsp Baking powder 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 2 tbsp coconut milk or regular milk Directions   Preheat oven to 375F/190C Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, beat coconut oil and sugar for 2 minutes, using a hand whisk. If using an electric stand mixer, mix for 2 minutes on medium speed using a paddle attachment.  Add the remaining ingredients and mix gently, until a dough is formed. Pistachio lovers should definitely try this recipe. I totally loved these cookies. They give out nutty and buttery flavor in your mouth. This recipe requires unsalted roasted pistachio nuts which are easily available in market and any brand of strawberry jam or any flavor jam.       Peanut butter cookies are easy to make and they taste great! These homemade cookies are made with peanut butter and multigrain flour .       As lots of peanut butter is used in this recipe, there is no need to add any oil/fat nor any other butter/margarine. I have used honey as natural sweetening agent to the cookies which is, a little healthier than the white sugar!     I have used low sodium creamy type peanut butter to this recipe. You can also use crunchy or any other type nut butters available in market.I have used Multigrain flour (combination of wheat, oats, soya, maize and psyllium husk flour) bought from a Indian store.     This recipe makes up to 24 cookies. I have made twelve plain cookies and other twelve with chocolate chips because i love chocolate chips .
